ALCOHOL OR MARIJUANA

This is in response to a comment made last week by Canadian Alliance Leader
Stephen Harper, someone we are to look up to in respect to our futures as
Canadians. He stated he would much rather see his daughters drink than
smoke marijuana. I suggest he spend a night in city cells. I have spoken
with officers in city lock-up who feel an injustice is being done if
alcohol is accepted and marijuana is not. As one said, in the 30 years he
has been in law enforcement, he has never seen a person brought in because
they had just consumed part of a joint yet every night he has to deal with
vulgar, abusive, drunks.
