BOSWELL SCHOOLS TALK ABOUT DRUG TESTING

BOSWELL-Drug testing for all students involved in inter-school activities
will be discussed at length today during the Boswell schools parent-teacher
conference.

The conference and open house at the school begins at 3 p.m.

From 7:30-9 p.m. an open forum in the cafeteria is scheduled for parents
can discuss the drug testing issue with Superintendent Jerry Combrink.

If the drug testing policy were adopted, students in all activities, not
just athletics, would be tested said Principal Jerry Stegall.

The school will be closed Friday but the softball team will play at 4:30 at
Haworth.

A "Caught You Being Good" program is drawing high marks from teachers and
administrators. Students who are "caught" doing something beyond normal
requirements have their names placed in a weekly drawing for a prize.
