MARIJUANA DEBATE HYPERBOLE
WHAT FASCINATES me about the marijuana debate is the hyperbole. Let's take,
for example, Tammy Schoep's letter from Sept. 16. Tammy wonders if she'll
be subjected to pot smoke at bars and restaurants. Not likely. If we ever
do see the day marijuana is decriminalized (not legalized) you might see
Amsterdam-like coffee houses. And if Tammy doesn't want to go in, she won't
have to. And one more thing. If there are moms out there "hot-boxing" in
the car on the way to school with little Johnny, they're not going to wait
for pot to be decriminalized.

(We wonder where the Non Smokers' Rights Association stands on all this?)
