SENATORS SHOWED RARE SENSE ON MARIJUANA ISSUE
As an American addiction psychiatrist, I highly praise the members of the
Canadian Senate special committee on illegal drugs. They have recommended
legalizing marijuana and regulating it via an integrated public-health
policy. Their report is common sense eloquently articulated by political
leaders, a rare and precious commodity in our troubled times.
I sincerely hope your government follows these recommendations as my
nation's leadership on this issue qualifies it as certifiably insane. Good
luck, Canadians.
