Regarding the September 9 letter from Mark Ander: I would like to ask him
where he got his facts. Where is there a study that says marijuana smokers
get cancer almost as often as those who smoke cigarettes? How about the
study that shows that marijuana is involved in almost as many fatal traffic
accidents as alcohol?

Considering the amount of time I have spent researching this subject,
and the fact that your statements are news to me, I'm going to have to
say either you don't know what you are talking about, or you are lying.

Either way, you are wrong. Get the facts. Read the countless studies
that have been done. I defy you to find any credible source to support
your claims. I can, without doubt, produce credible studies to refute
them. That is not to say marijuana is without risk, just that you are
so wrong I am shocked that the paper ran your letter.
