IS THERE ANY REASON THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD DENY MEDICINAL RELIEF TO
PEOPLE IN PAIN?
Absolutely not. Some controlled substances have their place in giving some
sort of quality of life to those who are severely or terminally ill. Too
many times people who need some sort of medication to ease their suffering
cannot get it without a hassle -- and sometimes not at all. That's wrong.
