BAD ATTENTION
I have to agree that Gov. Bush's daughter is getting special treatment in
rehab -- and it's the kind I would not want.
Anonymity is supposed to be the foundation that treatment is based on. A
rehab worker should not spread information to the public and another
patient would not be working their own program to recovery by doing so.
People with addiction problems come from all walks of life, rich, poor,
black, white, etc. But their stories are not newsworthy.
Ms. Bush's story is out there as a political ploy. How is she supposed to
get well with the help she needs by being on the news and in the paper
every day? Aren't there legitimate political issues about Florida that can
be used in these campaigns?
