IT'S TIME TO CONTROL PROHIBITIONISTS

Thank you for Josh Kalish's letter, ("Marijuana, alcohol not the answer,
Sept. 29). It makes me want to add, there is a glitch in the system, when
humans are caged for using a plant. The original prohibition on a national
scale was worse than the booze prohibited and the sequel, now, on an
international scale is worse.

The root of this problem can, Biblically, be traced back to the very first
page of the Bible, through the eye of the spirit. The Holy Spirit of truth,
enables us to comprehend the conflict, which is between man's laws to cage
a brother for using a plant and God's words indicating that all the green
plants are good, in Gen. 1:11-12 and 1:29-30, literally the very first page
of the Bible.

In the year 2002, it is time to control the out of control prohibitionists
in America. At the very minimum, that means re- legalizing cannabis. As the
new commandment is, to love our brothers, re-legalizing cannabis would be a
move in that direction.
