STUDENT DRUG TESTS
To the Editor:
"With Court Nod, Parents Debate School Drug Tests" (front page, Sept. 29)
ignores the salient point that we are currently engaged in a war against
terrorism. A war to defend "American values."
The Bill of Rights is, for all intents and purposes, America's 10
Commandments of Freedom - the bedrock of this nation's value system. At
this critical time in our history, we should be encouraging our children to
stand up for their rights - not surrender them.
