FIND OUT FACTS ON SENATE REPORT

Re Nicholas Ermeta's Sept. 27 letter Canada mired in morality crisis. The
basis of his argument is more than clear: Anyone who does not agree with
him is intoxicated, immoral and lacks common sense. If that puts me in the
same group as 66 per cent of Canadians who don't think that it should be a
criminal offence to use a plant native to Canada (National Post survey,
2000), I guess that is the price I'll happily have to pay.

For those people who would like to find out the "facts" and information for
themselves, the Canadian government Web site at http://www.parl.gc.ca/
contains the full Senate report recommending decriminalization of marijuana.
