NO FORTUNATE ONES

The judge's decision on whether or not to close proceedings in the drug
court case against Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's daughter Noelle should be
governed by a single consideration - whether the same treatment would be
afforded to anyone else's daughter.

So far it appears the governor's daughter's case has been handled in much
the same way anyone else's would, aside from increased publicity. Her
father has expressed the deep concern his family has for her problem, but
there is nothing thus far to indicate she has received preferential treatment.

That should not change now.
