CHIEF NEWELL DOING GREAT JOB

This is for all the parents who are down on our chief of police for the
lockdowns in school Monday. They need to be be lucky he cares. Not only is
he keeping drugs out of the schools, but also if one of those students has
a firearm in their locker for ill intent. They would feel really stupid
complaining if something happened to their child.

I would like to remind the community and for others that aren't aware, that
since Robert D. Newell became our chief of police, he has shutdown over 20
methamphetamine labs. His is doing a wonderful job for the city of Parkersburg.

Parents lay off and look at the big picture. In the words of Martha Stewart
"It's a good thing."
