PROHIBIT PROHIBITION

If Betty Kurk is being honest when she says that she was duped into signing
the petition for Question 9, and that she wants to have her name removed,
she should be obliged. Billy's group should also be held accountable.
However, passage of Question 9 would not lead to chaos, confusion and
broken lives. That is what prohibition leads to.

Passage of Question 9 would lead to more funds available for honest
education and other proactive strategies that are proven to be more cost
effective for combating drug use.

Ask yourself this, is it easier to prevent a fire from starting, or to stop
it once it has started.
