A SUCCESSION AT ANTI-DRUG GROUP

James E. Burke will soon step down after 13 years as chairman of the
Partnership for a Drug-Free America in New York, the nonprofit organization
that oversees the antidrug campaigns for Madison Avenue. His successor,
effective on Dec. 1, will be a longtime agency executive, Roy J. Bostock.

Mr. Burke, 77, has led the organization since 1989, when he retired as
chairman and chief executive at Johnson & Johnson. He will become chairman
emeritus, a new post. Mr. Bostock, 62, held top posts at agencies like
Benton & Bowles and D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles as well as the agency
companies the MacManus Group and the Bcom3 Group. He most recently served
as chairman of the executive committee of Bcom3, which was sold last month
to the Publicis Groupe.

The change will be the third at the top of the organization in a year,
coming after the naming of Stephen J. Pasierb as president and chief
executive and Allen Rosenshine, chairman and chief executive at BBDO
Worldwide in New York, part of the Omnicom Group, as vice chairman and
executive creative director.
