MAN SENTENCED FOR ROLE IN SUPPLYING FATAL DRUG
A Fort Collins man was sentenced to four years in federal prison Thursday
for his role in an Ecstasy ring that supplied the pill that led to the
death of Brittney Chambers after a party in Superior.
Shawn Sweeney, 21, pleaded guilty to three federal conspiracy and
distribution charges.
Two others haven't been sentenced yet.
Chambers died in February 2001, six days after taking Ecstasy on her 16th
birthday.
