GANGS, GUNS, DRUGS STING NETS 47 OF 49 SUSPECTS
All but two of 49 suspects in a citywide sweep targeting gangs, guns and
drugs have been arrested, according to records at the Pueblo County Jail.
Late Tuesday and during the day Wednesday, the following suspects
surrendered: Rachel M. Algeine, 24; Edward "Tunky" Jose Gonzales, 24;
Ernest "Archie" Kenneth Gonzales, 37; and Robert Funston Hildebrand, 36.
Police caught the following suspects: Valerie Martinez, 33; Abraham Isadore
Salazar, 24; George Andrew Stephenson, 48; and Gilbert Christopher Vega, 32.
Pueblo police and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms arrested
38 people during the day on Tuesday. The sweep marked the culmination of a
15-month investigation, named Operation Trident.
Diana Mae Becerra, 40, and Perfecto Arturo Rincon, 29, are wanted in the
sweep and remain at large.
