THANK THE LORD FOR CANNABIS - LITERALLY

I enjoyed all the letters last week pertaining to legalizing cannabis in
Nevada, but wanted to comment on Steve Evans' ["God's not opposed to pot,
so neither am I," Oct. 24]. The only biblical restriction placed on
cannabis is that we accept it with Thanksgiving.

Instead of caging humans for using cannabis, thank Our Father for cannabis.
Accept cannabis (known as kaneh bosm, before the King James version) for
what it is as described on the very first page of the Bible.

The war on drugs is so ignorant that I must ask if cannabis prohibitionists
even comprehend that they're admitting a desire to cage humans for using a
plant?
