ONE STEP AHEAD, TWO BACK
The Senate takes one step forward, and the Surrey School Board takes two
steps back.
What a disappointment.
Emulating the U.S.'s flagging war on drugs is a detriment to Canadians as
individuals and as a society. The only drug the school board is going to
find in these schools is marijuana, and until concrete evidence proves
marijuana is truly harmful, this militaristic approach must be stopped.
These searches violate privacy, and this right is sacred to people of all ages.
