POGROM AGAINST CANNABIS 2 of 3
A diagnosis and distribution system for marijuana should be implemented,
with a prescription cost similar to other prescription drugs and taxes
similar to tobacco or alcohol. I see many people who are willing to jump on
the bandwagon.
They undermine the real purpose of this very compassionate act. That is a
shame in this "get your money while you can" attitude our nation now has.
Some people try to be confrontational by going out and publicly smoking
pot, but we have ourselves to blame for that. The anti-pot commercials
would never treat Valium or any other pharmaceutical product as a "bad
drug" when it is beneficial. Once again, we pay the cost. We pay the
limited research the pharmaceutical companies actually cough up, and then
we are overcharged by upping the price. And no prescription coverage for
seniors. How ironic.
