HEALTHY YOUTH
We would like to bring to your attention the upcoming Community Forum that
will take place on October 29th at the Broomfield High School Cafeteria.
The Forum is titled, "An Interactive Dialogue on Healthy Communities and
Healthy Youth." This Forum will focus on the wide range of assets available
to our community here in Broomfield, which will help those children and
youth recovering from substance abuse, along with those children and youth
who have been able to say "no" to drugs and alcohol.
As Principals of the Boulder Valley schools in Broomfield, we know how
important this issue is. The Broomfield Coalition on Substance Abuse, known
as B.A.D. _ Broomfield Against Drugs, is made up of parent volunteers, City
and County of Broomfield officials, the Broomfield Police and school
representatives. This Coalition has our full and complete support. Please
lend your support by attending the Forum then see how you can get involved
to help our children and youth in Broomfield.
Gayle Burke, Broomfield Heights MS
Cindy Kaier, Kohl Elementary
Dave Krassowski, Birch Elementary
Larry Leatherman, Emerald Elementary
Ginger Ramsey, Broomfield HS
Scott Winston, Aspen Creek K-8
