DON'T BE TOO HASTY IN BLAMING POLICE

I've been reading all the letters regarding the shooting of Bear.

I'm a dog owner and I feel terrible for Marcie Carroll. But it seems
everyone is so quick to condemn the police without hearing the whole story.

We need to wait till the investigation is complete to know exactly what
went wrong.

I'm not a police officer, but it would be common knowledge that, in a drug
raid, police would have to break down a door and not let the landlord risk
his life opening it. They don't know what they are going to encounter once
that door is opened.

They put their lives on the line for us every day and instead of thanking
them we criticize them.
