NOT REPENTANT OF CRIME
I believe what Judge Gilbert did by using marijuana is outrageous to the
integrity of the court system. I also believe that Judge Haley and Phillips
are out of line by addressing the issue that he is a good man and deserves a
second chance like other persons.
Tell that to all the common people who have been sentenced to jail and
prison for use and distribution of marijuana. Let's look at the whole issue.
Someone grew the marijuana, someone sold the marijuana, someone purchased
the marijuana and the judge used the marijuana. It's all a crime. Why is the
judge not being charged. It is a crime to consume marijuana.
It sure is funny these judges never give a police officer a break when
brought before their courts. The police are always crucified and the judge
delights in giving an exhortation on how the cop has totally violated his
oath and then the judge slams the officers. No mercy there for the officer,
but let's give it to poor Judge Gilbert.
I feel like saying in court that the judges are out of order. But they would
hold me in contempt of court and send me to jail. If they allow this judge
to remain on the bench then they have violated their duty as a judge. They
will also help in the continuation of destroying the values and morals of
our country. The biggest effect will be on our youth who will just say if
the judge can smoke dope than so can I.
As Nancy Reagan, our past First Lady said, "Just say no!" So much for the
Dare program. Remember, people, the judge only admitted fault because he got
caught, not because he was repentant of his crime!
