ELECTED OFFICIALS WITH SHORT MEMORIES NEED DRUG TESTING

It's amazing how far the Republican Party will go to further its agenda

Gov. Linda Lingle wants to randomly drug-test teachers? I, for one,
think it's time that all public officials, including the elected
ones, should all have a mandatory drug test.

They are not only responsible for the state's children but all the
citizens of Hawaii. Immense responsibility lies in their decisions --
much more than teachers have.

If anyone should be tested, it's elected officials. Making campaign
promises that usually never materialize shows me that their
short-term memory appears to be inhibited by something other than ignorance.
