Prohibition Of Marijuana Is Destructive, Immoral
Letter to the Editor
As a fellow citizen and cannabis activist, I condemn the choice of police
service and protection Loretta Nall received as described in Friday's
column "Marijuana Activist: Police persecuting me for beliefs." Biblically,
medically and recreationally, many citizens use cannabis responsibly and
are tired of government discrimination and lies. At the very least, North
America must re-legalize cannabis, especially when you consider the worst
side effects of cannabis are police-inflicted.
Police should not be a part of that fraud, and whoever is in charge should
be looking for another job. One where serving and protecting is not required.
Freedom lovers must stop this dangerous activity.
The original prohibition on a national scale was worse than the booze that
was prohibited, and the sequel, now on an international scale, is worse.
The historically discredited war on some drugs is costing citizens at every
facet, including infringing on human, civil and constitutional rights. The
war on drugs and cannabis, a plant, further finances terrorism beyond the
conceptions of Al Capone to that of al-Qaeda.
Jailing people for using cannabis is so mean-spirited, repulsive and sinful
that it should be asked if cannabis prohibitionists really even comprehend
that they're caging humans for using a plant?
Instead of caging humans for using cannabis, thank Christ God, our Father
for cannabis. Accept cannabis (known as kaneh bosm, before the King James
Version) for what it is as described on literally the very first page of
the Bible (Genesis 1:11-12 and Genesis 1:29-30).
