STRIKE DOWN POSSESSION LAWS
RE: "Crop up In smoke," Nov. 17)
Former Health Minister Allan Rock reportedly had every intention of
distributing that marijuana to sick people. Health Minister Anne McLellan
has made statements publically that put her intent into question.
She now appears to be playing the stalling game. Claim there is not enough
research; claim the need for research; say you will do research; never get
around to the research; loop and repeat. The end result is the sick and
dying never receive access to medical cannabis.
Perhaps they should strike down possession laws as they said they would.
This might get Health Canada to realize time flies when you are not sick
and dying.
