Who invited American drug czar John Walters to Vancouver to speak about
drug policies? And what a bunch of half-truths he told.
His claim that 60 per cent of Americans requiring drug treatment are
"addicted" to marijuana is rubbish. Maybe he should read the
well-researched conclusions of the Canadian Senate report.
He has the gall to criticize the hecklers in the audience as being
ill-informed, yet in the U.S. each year there are 800,000 arrests for
marijuana possession. What a terrible statistic. This in a supposedly
"free" nation.
Yankee go home and deal with your own problems. God bless Canada, a free
and sovereign nation.
