IT'S COMMON SENSE
TO THE EDITOR:
How sad to think that drugs remain illegal because confiscated property and
cash are more profitable than taxation of legal drugs. Of course,
confiscated property and money don't go to education, child welfare or
Medicaid. Once again money has overruled common sense.
Legalizing drugs makes sense. It would remove lethal drugs from the
streets. It would stop the money going to terrorists. When will the people
of this great state demand common sense from its leaders?
