FEDERAL FUMBLERS CAN'T EVEN GROW POT
Regarding the article, Ottawa pot crop a bust (Nov. 17).
The government spends $5 million to grow marijuana and it doesn't turn out.
When I grow a crop of tobacco and it doesn't turn out, I don't get paid.
The public has been after tobacco farmers to grow alternative crops, but
the government never has enough money for us to develop them and, most
importantly, find and protect markets.
Why not ask a kid off the street how to grow marijuana? There are obviously
some out there with more know-how than Prairie Plant Systems Inc.
