DRUG TESTING FOR ALL
The big question would be who did he pass it to directly or indirectly? A
teenager, someone who later crashed their car, or another person who went
home to beat their spouse and kids. Harsh but typical question in
courtroom. How does someone his age and a judge have pressure enough to
decide, after convicting other people, to take a couple hits of pot? Maybe
Mick Jagger passed it to him. Anyway, I don't believe it's his first time.
With a zero tolerance level in the private sector pushed by government and
insurance, a hint of drug or alcohol would end a career, no matter how
sorry or ashamed we may feel. Why doesn't our total government have to take
drug and alcohol testing? While everybody is becoming criminals these days
with: seat belt laws, helmet laws, kids smoking and buying cigarettes (a
push to harder and dangerous homemade drugs), there needs to be justice for
all. Either government and celebrities need to change the laws or live by
them. Being there probably are not criminal charges, Judge Gilbert can
still carry a concealed weapon - although I don't believe he can preside
over any cases related or unrelated to marijuana. I do not condemn the man
and he still can be a lawyer representing others who have made poor choices
and got caught.
