CAGING FOR CANNABIS

District Judge Thomas Gilbert's credibility should be questioned less than
the credibility of the law against cannabis (marijuana) itself
("Credibility question of top concern," Nov. 17; and "Judge to enter rehab
program," Nov. 15).

In the year 2002, it defies credibility, and rationality to cage adult
humans for using cannabis, and to cage sick citizens using cannabis for
relief of pain is vile, morbid and spiteful for a civilization.

Biblically, medically and recreationally, many citizens including judges,
use cannabis responsibly and are tired of government discrimination and
lies directed toward them. The original prohibition on a national scale was
worse than the booze prohibited and the sequel, now, on an international
scale is worse.

The historically discredited war on some drugs costs citizens at every
facet, including infringing on various human, civil and constitutional
rights issues. The war on drugs and cannabis, a plant, further finances
terrorism beyond the conceptions of Al Capone to that of al-Qaida. And yet
society confronts a judge for using something credible from Our Father,
instead of questioning the credibility of the historically discredited laws.

Caging humans for using cannabis is so mean-spirited, repulsive and sinful,
that it should be asked if cannabis prohibitionists really even comprehend
that they're admitting a desire to cage humans for using a plant? Instead
of caging humans for using cannabis, thank Christ God, Our Father, for
cannabis. Accept cannabis (known as kaneh bosm, before the King James
Version) for what it is as described on literally the very first page of
the Bible (Genesis 1:11-12 and 29-30).
