THE WRONG MESSAGE

I find it disturbing that our judicial system is in the state that it is. A
judge is caught smoking pot at a Rolling Stones concert, then - and only
then - states he has a substance abuse problem.

How long has this judge been smoking pot? The '60s? Where does the judge
get his pot from? Is it from the same people he releases and finds
innocent, who pass though his courtroom - the same people who sell it in
the schools?

Now we have another judge who releases an individual to probation for
shooting at a DNR officer. The judge believes the shooter purposely fired
at the officer, but does not believe the shooter tried to hurt him. How can
anyone shoot at another person without the intent of causing injury? To top
it off, the judge in the courtroom says to the shooter that he believes he
is a good man. Let us all raise our children to smoke pot and shoot at
officers, because our current judges are sending the message that it is all
right. No harm, no foul.
