DRUG USERS SHARE THE GUILT OF DRUG WAR
This is in response to Kaitlan Mazzocco's letter of Nov. 25. What a savvy
little second-grader she is. Kudos and blessings to her parents, teachers
and guardians.
The rest of this opinion is to the recreational drug users who have robbed
this little one of her childhood, and caused her to have to grow up so fast.
Every recreational drug user (you too, pot smokers), has left fingerprints
on the triggers of the guns used by the cartels and drug dealers to kill and
maim those innocents that got in their way. You share direct responsibility
for every life and relationship that has been destroyed through the
marketing and use of illegal drugs.
You do not live in a vacuum and your recreational habit has dire
consequences for innocent lives, well outside the miserable, selfish life
you've chosen for yourself. If you can tweak, inject or light up knowing
this, I pity you, your children and your loved ones. They will pay for your
selfishness in this life; you will pay in the next.
Speaking of triggers gun owners, place a blank cartridge as the next
round up in your firearms. This is not a substitute for safe weapons
storage, but it is another layer of safety that would have saved countless
lives lost by those killed with unloaded guns.
