WAR ON US
Consider for a moment that the War on Drugs has lasted for 30 years and
today costs taxpayers roughly $700 per second.
Even John Walters, our nation's drug czar, says marijuana is getting more
potent, abuse is up, rehabilitation is practically never achieved, and
every drug dealer taken off the streets is replaced before the paperwork is
finished. Use among our children has remained the same since the question
was first asked in 1975.
Now our enemies, the terrorists, seek to use this failed social experiment
to kill us. It's time to start asking if this is really the world we want
to live in.
