Several years ago, experts agreed the low-grade hemp plant would solve all
our problems. The plant does well in arid conditions, comes from India,
can be grown anywhere, would supply food for cattle and sheep and has many
other uses. Why are we not seeing vast areas of dry Australia covered with
this versatile plant?
