DRUG PROHIBITION DOESN'T WORK
IT'S REALLY low when the police unions and the Ontario Crime Control
Commission start exploiting George Chuvalo's tragedies ("Drug war gets new
champion," Dec. 6) to further their own ends. If Bob Wood really wanted to
prevent crime, he might want to start with ending this ridiculous war on
drugs. Alcohol prohibition didn't work, drug prohibition doesn't work, and
never will. Legalize and regulate - that's the sensible solution.
