Jim McNulty's column on U.S. drug czar John Walters' reefer-madness
hysteria was right on target.
Under the leadership of Walters, the U.S. government has conducted
numerous paramilitary raids on California's voter-approved medical
marijuana suppliers.
The very same drug czar who claims illicit drug use funds terrorism is
forcing cancer and AIDS patients into the hands of street dealers.
Apparently, marijuana prohibition is more important than protecting the
U.S. from terrorism.
