BORDERLINE REASON
So, let me get this straight.
The United States significantly tightened up border security with Canada in
light of the terrorist threat after 9/11.
But if Canada decriminalizes possession of small amounts of marijuana, the
U.S. will "really, really, really" get tough on border security.
So, the threat of an invasion of mildly stoned Canadians is more serious
than the threat of al-Qaida?
My last few vacations have been in the United States, and I have always
thoroughly enjoyed the Americans I met.
But how do they get such wacky political leaders?

(They got them in exactly the same way we did. It's called voting and
democracy and other things like that.)
