IT'S A GREAT IDEA UNTIL TAXPAYERS ARE ASKED TO FOOT THE BILL

Larry (Happy) Campbell is elected on a promise to hold an Olympic
referendum that turns into a watered-down plebiscite because no one thought
about the cost.

Now his new shooting galleries are in jeopardy because no one thought about
who would pay for them.

But it's OK.

Hopefully the feds will pay (good luck). If not, the municipal taxpayer
will foot the bill.

When your Vancouver property tax are jacked up to pay for free heroin and
another useless poll that isn't even properly worded, blame yourselves for
where you put the "x" on election day.
