MARIJUANA LEGALIZATION
I would like to make a reply to the recent spate of commercials which state
that money spent on marijuana funds terrorism. If marijuana were legalized,
the money would immediately stop funding terrorism and instead go to the
states and federal government like much of the money from gas to tobacco
does. A great many jobs would be created (there would be no more shortage
of domestic farm labor!) and our police force could stop "terrorizing" a
very large part of the population. Including marijuana in our nation's drug
policy does not save children. It imprisons them.
