In response to Kirk Muse's letter, And... (Jan. 2 Herald-Tribune): He
obviously sees no harm in using marijuana and I know from experience
that I can not change his mind.

I did not say that pot was the cause, but it is a gateway drug and
AADAC agrees with that.

I am speaking of the clients that I have seen. Not all who use pot, go
on to other drugs, some realize that the pot is lethal enough or it
gets them the buzz that they want. Some also realize that all drugs
are harmful. Marijuana was the first drug that I used beside alcohol
and I went on to other drugs too. I am thankful to be in recovery and
a "drug warrior".
