SMITH'S FINAL THOUGHTS
First, I must say sorry to the mother whose article I commented on
about her son's bout with crystal meth. I hope that he is recovered
along with your family. I have lost sight of your suffering by getting
involved in what has turned into a debate on the effects of marijuana.
I would just like to say as my final comment that I am more in
agreement with this taken from the book Uppers, Downers, All Arounders
by Inaba and Cohen,"Marijuana is a gateway drug in the sense that if
people smoke it, they will probably associate with others who smoke
marijuana or use other drugs, so the opportunities to experiment are
greater."
The paragraph goes on state most addicts used tobacco or alcohol
first. I am not of the "Reefer Madness"
school of thought. Lastly, thanks to the the people from the U.S.A.
for expressing their views.
