GET OFF YOUR ATTITUDES, GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT
I have been reading your paper for some time and although you do share some
alternative stories, it's sad to see you continue a bit of an immature
attitude toward several news sources, including one that has shown
improvement in its commitment to real news in the past year - meaning not
just rumor news. I noticed a while back, on the issue of the husband of the
former KSBY weather forecaster, you checked with several news people,
including some not even involved with the current news media, on why or why
not to run the story; omitting KVEC, which took a real stand against it.
Then, this week, your uninformed "Shredder" writer completely overlooks the
fact that KVEC was among the forerunners on the Donovan No Runner story,
not only interviewing both No Runner and his attorney Lou Koory
extensively, but was there with them the day they went to the police
station the fist time to get the marijuana back. On top of that, they also
did interviews with the city attorney and the police. You guys really need
to get off your attitudes and find out who really cares about what's news
in SLO.
