POT STORY LEFT SEVERAL QUESTIONS UNANSWERED

Why can't Jean Woods put the stuff in brownies, or try more conventional
pain control? I thought smoking dope was a dirty delivery system with a
significant cancer risk of its own. What about her daughters' exposure to
second hand smoke?

I didn't get the impression that Nicolas Denux discriminated against Jean
due to her illness, but considered his needs as a landlord and the wishes
of his tenants. I was quite interested to know why Jean's mother didn't
follow through with her promise of housing.

Jean Woods has many illness-related needs, but I can't understand why
smoking dope is one of them. I wish the article had explored Jean's opinion
that "they (the pills) mess with your mind more than the joints."

I am left thinking that an apartment is a small community where the needs
of all residents must be considered.
