NEW CHANCE AT LIFE

In response to Randy White and his opposition to Insite, I don't work
at the the clinic, but I believe some drugs, such as marijuana,
should be legalized.

One look south of the border reinforces that belief.

White obviously doesn't believe in harm reduction. He talks of
prevention and treatment of addicts. But he doesn't understand that
these people have a disease, and need to be helped.

Taking these people off the street and supervising them when they
take their drugs, ensuring no overdoses and taking away the need to
steal for drug money -- how is this bad for society?

After an addict makes several visits to Insite, perhaps a health
worker will finally be able to get some of them off drugs and give
them another chance at life.

A brutal U.S.-style war on drugs makes no sense to any open-minded individual.
