AN OPEN MIND
When I first read the opinion by Jeff Moore (Caving in on drugs) I thought
that a person like that must be a real moron, but after I thought about it
I started feeling sorry for him.
The guy can never leave his home and enjoy himself as even going to a
baseball game -- not even the Brewers, but a local game-- would make him
party to a crime as someone there might be smoking pot and he would know
hence deserve a ticket for being there. He can't be a person that goes to
the mall because someone might smoke something in one of the restrooms and,
again, he would, of course, know and deserve a ticket.
Does he really think that the Racine Police missed the drugs when they
ticketed over 400 people? No, they found what, something like three persons
drugs and they must have been carrying large bags of it if the few that
were carrying it would have enough to get all 400 plus people drugged up to
be a menace on the roads. Was I there? No. Am I a 17-year-old who goes to
raves? No, I'm almost 50 but at least I have an open mind.
