HOW TO TELL IF YOUR NEIGHBOUR'S UP TO NO GOOD
Is your neighbour running a meth lab or a grow op? Here are some clues.
- - Stinky chemical smells, such as the odour of solvents, vinegar, fabric
softener or ammonia.
- - Blacked-out windows
- - Access denied to landlords or visitors
- - Unusual traffic, like excessive nighttime visitors
- - Stained soil, burn pits, dead vegetation or other traces of chemical dumping
- - Unusual amounts of packaging from over-the-counter cold medicine
- - Unusual numbers of compressed gas canisters or fuel containers normally
used for camp stoves
- - Paraphernalia such as masks, filters, hosing, clamps and coolers
- - Evidence of tampering with hydro lines or electric meters
- - A rooftop with no snow on it, though surrounding roofs are snow-covered
- - No garbage or other signs a house is lived in. Or, phony signs the house
is lived in, such as light timers, even though few people are seen coming
and going.
