Because of the of the U.S. government's worldwide attempt to exterminate
cannabis (Everybody's High, Jan. 30), it is important that Raphael
Mechoulam and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, working with THC,
cannabinoids and anandamides, is bringing medical use of cannabis
(marijuana) back into the future.

Although the federal U.S. government and Congress still hold cannabis
illegal, it has been documented for over 5,000 years of medical usage,
still without a fatality. G.W. Pharmaceuticals, manufacturing cannabis /
THC medications, proves cannabis still has enormous medical value and
potential. Mechoulam's work proving that cannabis and THC have medical
value discredits the federal U.S. government's Schedule I placement of
cannabis, claiming cannabis has no medical value.

Congress, where we must focus our disagreement on this issue, must be
forced to change and reschedule cannabis from Schedule I to a Schedule more
credible with scientific medical reality.

Congress must be forced to make rescheduling cannabis legislation a
priority. Allowing our citizens use of cannabis without caging them is more
important than killing humans in Iraq.

Demand our Congressman Mark Udall work as a priority to reschedule cannabis.

Don't underestimate the value of re-scheduling cannabis, for it effects our
planet's ecology, economics, education and many other facets of daily life
on Earth.

For the health of mankind on all of Earth, we must control the federal U.S.
government like the plague.

It is no mistake. The Ecologician told us that He created all the green
seed-bearing plants and said they were good on literally the very first
page of the Bible.
