EAP WELCOMES MR. GEORGE CHUVALO
The Base Commander and the Employee Assistance Program would like to invite
you to a 90 minute session given by Mr. Chuvalo called "Fight against
Drugs". George speaks to students, parents and other groups about how drugs
have impacted his life. He has lost 3 sons and his wife as a result of
substance abuse.
His graphic recollection of events and his expressive style enables him to
convey his powerful message. The feedback he receives is positive,
appreciative and encouraging. Being a father to a drug addict provides him
with the insight and wisdom required to capture any listeners.
Presentations are in high demand from coast to coast.
He de-glamorizes drugs giving examples of what he has witnessed first hand.
One fact is true in that drugs always begin with experimentation. He also
stresses that the fact that in the criminal system, the majority of crimes
are committed as a result of drug abuse. In most cases, addicts turn into
criminals, not criminals into addicts.
Mr Chuvalo will leave you with a message of hope for our future while
inviting you into his private life experiences. So please take the time to
come out to what is guaranteed to be a presentation that you won't forget.
February 13th, 2003 Base Theatre, Bldg P119 10:00hrs (first session)
