DRUG TASK FORCE WON'T STOP CRIME

Washington County is going to create a drug task force? What a unique idea,
I've heard these task forces really eliminate that drug problems, of course
I've also heard that America will be drug free by 1996, then by 1998, and
then by 2000; and here it is 2003 and still no end in sight.

Drugs don't cause crime, prohibition causes crime, create a task force to
eliminate prohibition, one to provide treatment for addicts and the rest of
the associated problems with prohibition will disappear as well, like
corruption and violence. Otherwise Washington County is just wasting
resources on failed policies that have been tried year after year with no
discernable results other than to move a drug problem to another location
or make matters worse.
