DRUGGIES, ALCOHOLICS THREATEN YOUNG CANOE PADDLERS

I am a parent who is very upset by the open use of drugs and alcohol that
goes on in the front of our children who paddle canoe at Ho'aloha Park
across from the Kahului Shopping Center. This is a huge problem.

Our children have found empty drug packets, needles and broken beer bottles
all over the park and the beach. We have had our kids offered drugs,
propositioned for sex and harassed. We sit in our cars with the windows up
and our doors locked until the coaches arrive to protect our children from
these parasites.

I am so sick and tired of not getting any help from anyone. We need help
desperately before our children get hurt. I would really like to see
Ho'aloha Park cleaned up and returned to the community and to the children
who are using the park.
